Sad to say, someone at the Canadian Broadcasting Company decided changes were needed to boost the ratings. Exit the old likable, easy going Anglican Reverend. Enter the new egotistical, smarthy, untrustworthy, muslim-hating Anglican Reverend Thorne. A cartoonish “Snydley Wiplash” character who grins everytime he sets up the Muslims for failure. And he is there for all 18 episodes!
There is a goodside to this season, the Muslim community. They are their usual likeable selves working through all the difficulties they encounter.
Fred, the ultra-conservitive radio talk show host is horrified to realize that some muslims make him look like a liberal.
Give the season a watch, just understand that the Anglican Reverend is an unbearable character to watch and you wish gets his in the end.

So sorry the CBC had to change things fir the worst.

Always fun to watch these. Helps minimize social misunderstandings...and it is just plain honest to goodness good humor
