So the plot is this: One day out of the blue an electromagnetic, porous dome drops over a small town in the middle of nowhere (I think it was Pennsylvania). People are cut in half, as are buildings, and it's very graphic. Suddenly everyone under the dome panics. There's a fight for water, food, fuel, etc. At the same time, the mayor is trying to kill off everyone in town who knows about the drug network he's running, including the Sheriff. There's a side plot about four of the citizens who apparently have some kind of mental link to the dome, then season 2 starts and they ignore everything from season 1 and start all over again. I enjoyed Season 1 of "Under the Dome" but Season 2 was terrible, one long boring soap opera. They literally had the town councilman spend four episodes trying to kill Barbie and then he just changed his mind after the dome told him not to. :0 Reminds me of that entire season of Dallas where they said it was all Bobby's dream. I have no idea how this lasted three seasons. Clearly a case of running out of things to say about a dome over a town. No real plot.
