For those who say Hitch couldn't film romance, I suggest checking out the slo-mo, closeup kiss between Kelly and Stewart, at the beginning of the film. It has been written that Grace was his favorite leading lady (Hitch's). This kiss could not bely that assertion. On Hitch's list of film greatness: most certainly this one makes Top 5, along with Psycho, and the other three Jimmy Stewart films ( Vertigo, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Rope), and , STRANGERS ON A TRAIN. Yes, that is 6. Ok, take out ROPE: honorable mention.
