Scythe thoroughly entranced me with a world free from disease, that has unlocked unlimited knowledge, and are immune to death. The first book in the series was extremely detailed, surprising from start to finish and dynamic. Thunderhead continued on to be a worthy sequel that brought forward a fear for the all-knowing systems, that decides all in their society, becoming more aware and in control of the population. I thought the events in Scythe were shocking, but Thunderhead broke through the ceiling with a conclusion I never expected. I loved the new characters introduced and I was impressed with the direction the author went in and how chaotic the events were that shocked me. Now, after a long wait, we conclude this epic series with, The Toll. I read it just as fast as the previous two because the author writes so charmingly with the characters and the world being so addicting to follow. Even after enough time to forget which secondary characters are which I was still able to come back into who each person was and only a chapter in I was already immersed again. Altogether, I loved each part of the story with the characters all having something great to contribute. The ending of this book is amazing, this series was absolutely fantastic and I really recommend it to everyone.
