"Murder at the gallop" also stars the portly but personable Robert Morley and the dramatic actress Flora Robson. Flora Robson was no beauty but her acting skills were sought after. Robert Morley was probably the fattest boy on the block and never had a waist line. Yet we all liked Morley and his passing took something from British film that has not bee replaced. Margaret Rutherford displays wonderful energy and mental vigor that also has not been equaled by anyone since Margaret stepped away from the screen. Stringer Davis intrigues me. Davis maybe have been considered an actor but actors are expected to play people other than themselves. Davis was too honest not to be Davis. I wish I knew him personally.
